Laundry Attendant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry services are performed efficiently and to the highest standards of cleanliness. This role is essential in maintaining the quality and presentation of linens and garments within our establishment, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. Days/Hours Friday to Monday/Friday, Saturday, and Monday 8am until done. Sundays are 9am until done. Usually a 6 to 8 hour shift Duties Operate washing machines and dryers, ensuring proper settings for various fabric types. Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items, including linens, towels, and uniforms. Perform dry cleaning services as needed, following specific care instructions for delicate fabrics. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues to management. Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of laundered items to various departments. Requirements Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Laundry cleaning processes and equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods during shifts.
