Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a Laundry Associate for Sub-Acute Rehab, where your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will directly enhance patient comfort and care. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring all laundry services meet the highest standards of sanitation, garment care, and safety. Your efforts will help create a welcoming, hygienic environment that promotes healing and well-being for residents. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to a compassionate healthcare setting while developing valuable skills in textile cleaning and materials handling. Responsibilities Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers and dryers to thoroughly clean textiles, linens, and resident clothing. Handle laundry materials with care, ensuring proper sorting, folding, and distribution according to facility protocols. Maintain sanitation standards by using appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents safely and effectively. Use push carts and other equipment to transport heavy loads of laundry efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Follow established safety standards during manual handling, heavy lifting, and materials handling to prevent injuries. Ensure all laundry processes comply with health regulations and infection control policies. Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies of laundry detergents and textiles, reporting shortages or equipment issues promptly. Qualifications Prior experience or familiarity with cleaning, laundry services, or textile cleaning is preferred but not required. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and managing inventory counts. Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards in production environments. Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude towards residents and team members. Ability to operate garment care machines such as washers, industrial dryers, and garment care machines accurately. Commitment to following safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment. Pay:
From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 22.0 - 35.0 per week
