The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment handling laundry orders Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their laundry needs in a courteous manner Operate and monitor commercial laundry equipment, ensuring optimal performance Maintain the cleanliness of the laundromat Washers & Dryers, including washing stations, folding areas, bathrooms and waiting areas Handle cash transactions accurately using cashiering procedures and manage cash handling responsibilities Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering guidance on machine usage Perform routine inspections of machines for maintenance needs or malfunctions Keep detailed records of transactions, machine status, and cleaning schedules to ensure smooth daily operations Process all express drop-off, pick-up, and delivery laundry orders and accurately enter and maintain orders in the system to replicate physical movement of the orders in the store for the delivery driver as well. Ensure clear communication between shifts and team members Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager Requirements Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred but not required Knowledge of Laundry processes is a plus but not required Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and maintain a tidy workspace Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing Experience with cashiering systems or point-of-sale (POS) devices is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting laundry loads or cleaning equipment Schedule 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM+ (as needed) 1-2 weekend days availability required This role is perfect for motivated individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while providing top-notch service.
