Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of linens used in guest rooms. Your attention to detail and efficiency will contribute to providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests. The Laundry Attendant plays a vital part in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation expected in our establishment. Duties Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and folding machines to clean linens, towels, and guest room textiles. Sort, load, and unload laundry loads efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage and report any issues to management. Ensure linens used in guest rooms are properly laundered, folded, and stored in designated areas for easy access. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including cleaning machines and workspaces regularly. Follow all safety procedures related to handling chemicals and operating laundry machinery. Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely availability of clean linens for guest rooms. Skills Strong attention to detail to ensure linens are thoroughly cleaned and properly maintained. Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently. Good organizational skills for managing linen inventory and workspace cleanliness. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members. Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to laundry operations and chemical handling. Reliability and a strong work ethic to ensure consistent performance in a fast-paced environment. Pay:

$15.25 - $17.25 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 40.0 per week
