: Job Summary
Responsible for the accurate sorting of linen placed on a moving conveyor belt. The role involves picking up soiled linen and placing it in the corresponding sling or cart. Adherence to standard operating procedures is required, and quality and production standards must be met.
Responsibilities
Sort linen on a moving conveyor belt.
Pick up and properly place soiled linen in designated areas.
Follow standard operating procedures.
Meet quality and production standards.
Qualifications
Able to stand for up to 10 hours a day.
Capable of pushing or pulling linen carts weighing up to 800 lbs (on wheels).
Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Proficient in operating a computer and printer.
Physically able to bend and twist consistently.
Safety and PPE
PPE provided for sorting of soiled linen includes gloves, masks, gowns, and shoe covers.
