Handle laundry materials safely, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing textiles according to type and care instructions. Maintain sanitation standards by properly using laundry detergents, cleaning agents, and adhering to safety protocols during all laundry processes. Assist with materials handling tasks using push carts or other equipment to transport heavy loads efficiently while following manual handling safety procedures. Perform routine inspections of laundry items for stains or damages and execute appropriate cleaning methods to ensure garment care quality. Follow safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents and ensure a safe workspace for all team members. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests for laundry services and ensuring timely delivery of clean textiles. Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and textile cleaning methods including dry cleaning. Experience operating laundry machinery such as industrial washers, dryers, and garment care machines. Ability to handle materials safely with proper manual handling skills for heavy lifting and transporting textiles. Familiarity with sanitation practices and safety standards in production environments. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, chemicals, or adjusting machine settings accurately. Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality laundry results and proper garment care.
