LAUNDRY ATTENDANT JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary The Laundry Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and service at Villa Roma Resort & Conference Center by processing, washing, drying, and organizing linens, towels, uniforms, and other hotel textiles in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sort and process incoming laundry according to fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements Operate industrial washing and drying equipment safely and efficiently Follow proper chemical handling procedures and maintain appropriate cleaning solution levels Fold and organize clean linens, towels, and uniforms according to department standards Inspect textiles for stains, damage, or wear and handle accordingly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry facility Track inventory of linens and supplies Support other departments with linen needs as required Comply with all safety regulations and procedures Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisor Maintain a clean and organized work environment Required Skills and Abilities Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repeated bending, stretching, and lifting Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic mathematical skills for measuring cleaning solutions Effective communication skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays Working Conditions Work is performed indoors in a laundry facility environment Exposure to heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicals Regular physical activity including standing, walking, bending, and lifting Operation of industrial laundry equipment Experience Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred but not required Training will be provided The Company offers competitive pay and benefits including: Health Insurance (after qualifying period) 401(k) Plan participation Paid Time Off Holiday Pay Villa Roma Resort & Conference Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
