In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring all laundry items are properly cleaned, sorted, and cared for according to safety and sanitation standards. Your proactive approach will help deliver fresh, high-quality laundry services that meet the needs of our clients and uphold our commitment to excellence. Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and care. Handle laundry materials safely using appropriate sanitation procedures and laundry detergents. Sort, load, and unload laundry items efficiently using push carts and other materials handling tools. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when moving large loads of linens or garments. Maintain cleanliness of work areas by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols in production environments. Conduct routine inspections of textiles for stains, damages, or special care instructions to ensure proper garment care. Assist with customer service by providing prompt, courteous assistance regarding laundry services and garment care needs. Qualifications Prior experience or familiarity with cleaning, laundry processes, or textile cleaning is preferred but not required. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, sorting items, or recording quantities accurately. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocol guidelines. Strong attention to detail to ensure proper sanitation, garment care, and quality control. Excellent customer service skills to support positive interactions with clients and team members. Willingness to learn about industrial dryers, dry cleaning techniques, and proper use of laundry detergents.
