Responsibilities Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning equipment to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing. Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results. Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or specialty items using appropriate solvents and equipment. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and ensure all equipment is functioning properly through routine inspections. Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating machinery to create a safe working environment. Fold, package, and organize clean linens for distribution throughout the hotel or facility. Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors when restocking is needed. Qualifications Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes. Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads as needed.
