OF JOB:
The objective of the Laundry Department is to insure the highest levels of quality and cleanliness of all Guest Room Linens, F&B Linens and Staff Uniforms for the Harvard Club.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Monday
- Friday from 7:00AM
- 3:00PM and 11:00AM
- 7:00PM Sort laundry, load and unload washers.
Load and unload dryers. Operate ironers and pressers. Fold and store linen. Light maintenance of equipment and laundry space. Issue linen and uniforms. Assist with inventory maintenance. Other related duties as assigned. Work overtime as needed Process member/guest laundry and dry cleaning
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 2 years of laundry experience
APPROXIMATE NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES SUPERVISED BY THIS POSITION
COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Be able to do the following: To lift 15 to 25lbs of linen To stand for duration of shift To work in temperature above 80 degrees Good communication skills

Due to the cyclical nature of the business, and various reporting deadlines, you may be required to work varying schedules, and or overtime, on occasion, to meet the business needs of the Club. This may, when necessary, include weekendsand holidays. All employees are required to fully comply with Club house rules, which are established for the safe and efficient operation of the Club's facilities. In addition to performance of the essential functions of the job, as noted above, you may berequired to perform a combination of supporting functions, as designated by your Supervisor, dependent upon the business needsof the Club.
