The Hurlbut in Henrietta is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented individual to join our environmental services and laundry team. In this role, you aren't just keeping our facility spotless—you are creating a safe, welcoming, and cheerful home for our residents.
What You'll Do Laundry Operations:
Promptly collect, wash, dry, fold, and sort resident and facility laundry with care and attention to detail.
Environmental Upkeep:
Clean, wash, polish, sanitize, and disinfect resident rooms and common areas, including furnishings, floors, windows, and bathrooms.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all infection control guidelines, use proper disinfecting procedures, and maintain safe, hazard-free work areas.
Resident Connection:
Treat every resident with warmth, kindness, and absolute respect while honoring their privacy and rights.
What We're Looking For Age:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Communication:
Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
Skills:
Working knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, strong attention to detail, and a stellar work ethic.
Customer Service:
A compassionate, friendly approach when interacting with residents and staff.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, reach, bend, twist, and carry without restrictions.
