Job Description
Overview In this role, you will operate commercial laundry equipment, ensure linens are cleaned to the highest standards, and maintain an organized, efficient workspace. Your dedication will help us provide outstanding customer experiences while upholding safety and quality in every task. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in laundry operations and customer service within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate commercial-grade dryers, washers, and other garment care machines safely and efficiently. Perform laundry washing, bleaching, and stain removal using mechanical stain removal techniques, baking soda, hot water, cold water, and other specialized methods. Execute laundry folding to deliver crisp, professional results. Manage inventory tracking for laundry supplies and maintain an organized workspace to optimize workflow. Assist with laundry sorting, loading/unloading, and operating equipment while adhering to machine operation safety procedures. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to laundry services and ensuring timely completion of tasks. Experience Prior experience operating commercial laundry equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates. Knowledge of fabric care techniques including stain removal (mechanical, hot/cold water methods) is advantageous. Familiarity with inventory management systems and maintaining an organized workspace is beneficial. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to machine operation and handling chemicals like bleach is essential. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and quality standards in all laundry processes.
Pay:
$13.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:
