POSITION PROFILE
Process soiled linen and distribute clean linen in accordance with standard operating procedures in a safe, accident-free manner, as assigned by management.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES
Receive, sort and weigh soiled linen; place into appropriate containers. Process sorted linen utilizing the washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, ironers, and feeder/folders ensuring finished- product is inspected and meets quality standards. Turn in all articles found in Laundry Chute/Department to the Supervisor to log in Lost and Found. Fulfill guest requests and handle guest problems/complaints as they may arise to achieve guest satisfaction. Report any malfunctioning or damaged equipment, or mechanical problems to the Supervisor. Notify supervisor of supplies needed, damaged linens or hazards to the department to ensure laundry operation is running at maximum efficiency level. Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition. Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times. Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
High school diploma or equivalent experience No formal experience required for the position Ability to recognize and work with numbers. Operate industrial laundry equipment. Communicate information, respond to question, and provide directions and hotel services to guests, vendors, staff member and management.

Continuous Standing as needed Lift, pull, push, bend, and move items to support the hotel and outlets
