Laundry Attendant

The Junto is a modern-day embodiment of Ben Franklin and his club of the same name. His "club for mutual improvement" brought together people from all backgrounds to discuss issues and ideas of the time while enjoying life. With an emphasis on public gathering spaces, our hotel gives visitors, locals, entrepreneurs, and artists alike a place to come together, exchange ideas, and inspire one another. The Junto will be both a destination and a landmark of the area, helping to define and add value to the future of Columbus. This individual is one of the behind-the-scenes team members that plays an essential role in the properties operation to ensure that all linens are clean and ready for the guest to relax and unwind. This team members' primary role includes sorting, washing, drying, pressing and folding towels, sheets, duvets, and pillowcases.

Requested Tasks:

Collect guest laundry from bins and chutes Check all items for damage or stains and take appropriate action to rectify issues Place and remove items from washing machines, dryers and/or feed the ironer Neatly folds, count and re-stock inventory for guest rooms Report any technical problems or deficiencies to maintain equipment functioning
