Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel linens and guest laundry are cleaned, laundered, and properly stored. This is a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel.Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron hotel linens and guest laundry
- Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
- Inspect linens for stains or damages and report any issues to the supervisor
- Follow proper procedures for handling and storing different types of fabrics
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area
- Assist with inventory management by keeping track of linen supplies and reporting shortages
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements:
- Previous experience in dry cleaning or hotel laundry operations is preferred
- Knowledge of proper laundering techniques for different fabrics
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality results
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
