Job Description
Essential Duties Wash, dry, fold, sort, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens. Properly identify and return clothing to the correct residents. Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and safe. Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment according to training. Report damaged or missing clothing and equipment concerns. Work cooperatively with nursing, housekeeping, and other departments. Treat residents, families, and coworkers with kindness, dignity, and respect. Help create a positive and welcoming environment for our residents. Qualifications Dependable and punctual. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Good organizational and time-management skills. Able to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull as required for the position. Comfortable working around older adults in a healthcare setting. Previous laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required . A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are a must!
