Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Full-Time Laundry Attendant to join our team at Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all laundry materials, ensuring linens are properly cared for using industry-standard procedures. Your dedication will help uphold our commitment to guest satisfaction through impeccable laundry services. Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment including industrial washers and dryers. Handle linens and bedding carefully, performing washing, drying, folding, and sorting tasks efficiently. Use push carts and other tools to transport laundry loads safely throughout the facility. Follow safety protocols diligently during manual handling, heavy lifting, and operation of cleaning machinery to prevent injuries. Maintain sanitation standards by properly handling laundry detergents, cleaning agents, and chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines. Ensure proper garment care by inspecting linens and bedding for stains or damage and applying appropriate cleaning techniques. Keep detailed records of laundry processes, including loads processed and maintenance needs for equipment. Experience Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating loads. Knowledge of safety standards related to textile cleaning, sanitation, and industrial equipment operation. Strong customer service orientation with a focus on quality and attention to detail. Familiarity with laundry detergents, and safety protocols in production environments is advantageous. SHIFT:

8:30 a.m. start time - until finished. (Approx 6-8 hours per day). 1st Shift Only. Looking for someone to work 5 days per week. Preferrably 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day (Sat or Sun) each week, rotating weekend days.

Pay:

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
