Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team at the Wallhouse Hotel as a Hotel Laundry Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our guests' experience spotless and comfortable! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and textiles are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to the highest standards. Your dedication to cleanliness and efficiency will directly contribute to guest satisfaction and the smooth operation of our hotel. Duties Operate laundry machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and equipment to efficiently clean textiles Handle materials carefully using proper manual handling techniques to prevent damage and ensure safety Sort, load, and unload laundry loads using push carts or other equipment while adhering to safety protocols Apply appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents following safety standards in production and sanitation guidelines Perform garment care and stain removal to maintain quality standards Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including sanitation of equipment and workspaces in compliance with safety standards Assist with inventory management by organizing linens, towels, and other textiles for timely processing Experience Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of laundry detergents, sanitation procedures, and textile cleaning techniques is a plus Ability to operate laundry care machines such as industrial washers and dryers safely and efficiently Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating loads accurately Strong understanding of safety standards related to heavy lifting, manual handling, and equipment operation Excellent customer service skills to support hotel staff and ensure guest satisfaction through clean linens and textiles Join us in creating a welcoming environment where cleanliness meets excellence!
