Essential Duties & Responsibilities Linen & Garment Care:

Collect daily laundry from residents; sort, treat, wash, dry, and fold clothing and linens.

Supply Availability:

Ensure a consistent supply of clean linen is available for resident care and comfort.

Quality & Repair:

Maintain linens in good repair, removing any items with holes or permanent stains from service.

Delivery & Labeling:

Label clothing for new residents as needed and deliver clean items directly to resident rooms.

Sanitation & Safety:

Strictly follow all sanitary processes and safety guidelines when operating industrial equipment and handling cleaning supplies.

Inventory & Maintenance:

Monitor laundry supply levels and promptly report equipment issues to the Administrator.

Job Qualifications Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required; 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions related to laundry and housekeeping procedures.

Mathematical Skills:

Basic arithmetic skills.

Reasoning Ability:

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to seek assistance when appropriate.

Certifications:

None required.

Physical Demands & Work Environment Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear. Frequent operation of industrial washers, dryers, and cleaning equipment.

Lifting:

Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Environment:
