Responsibilities Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty equipment efficiently and safely. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and guest clothing according to established standards. Perform cleaning duties on laundry areas and ensure all equipment is maintained in optimal condition. Handle dry cleaning processes when applicable, ensuring proper handling of delicate items. Follow safety protocols and proper chemical handling procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors when restocking is needed. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and guest items. Qualifications Previous experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong knowledge of laundry techniques, including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal. Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality standards. Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads when necessary.
