Laundry Aide

Responsibilities Include:

Collect soiled linens and resident clothing from designated areas Sort laundry according to fabric type, color, and washing requirements Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently Fold, label, and distribute clean laundry to residents and departments Inspect linens and clothing for damage and report items needing repair or replacement Follow infection control and safety procedures when handling soiled laundry Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry room and equipment Monitor and report equipment malfunctions to supervisor Ensure proper use of detergents, chemicals, and supplies Respect resident privacy and handle personal clothing with care Assist with inventory of linens and laundry supplies as needed

Minimum Requirements:

Written and verbal communication skills Ability to respect all members of the healthcare team Solid work history with excellent attendance and punctuality Patience, understanding and compassion for those requiring our care
