Hotel Laundry Attendant

In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all hotel linens and towels, contributing directly to the overall guest satisfaction. Your energy and attention to detail will help uphold our commitment to excellence in every aspect of guest service. Responsibilities Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and iron linens and towels, efficiently and effectively. Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to prevent damage and ensure quality results. Handle delicate items with care, including dry cleaning processes when necessary, following proper procedures. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including sorting stations, machines, and storage spaces. Monitor inventory levels of linens and supplies; notify management when stock needs replenishing. Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals used in cleaning and dry cleaning processes. Assist in delivering clean linens to designated hotel departments promptly to support smooth daily operations. Experience Prior experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and ironing is highly desirable. Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
