Schedule:
This is a part-time position, 3 days per week (Wednesday through Friday). Workdays and schedules may fluctuate due to hotel occupancy. Potential to pick up extra shifts to cover other staff time-off, cross-train for other housekeeping positions and potentially become full-time in the future.

Other qualifications include:
1 year of Housekeeping/Laundry Attendant experience working in a hotel or other hospitality environment strongly preferred. 6+ months of customer service experience. Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen. Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Position Overview:
This position works with an amazing team who is responsible for cleaning guest rooms, conference rooms, and public common areas. Our team follows our high standards of safety and cleanliness and provides customers with quality service in a timely, memorable, and friendly manner.
Essential Functions include:
Process all linens through wash/dry/ironing cycles using established, approved methods. This includes but is not limited to the following: washing of sheets, towels, bedspreads, shower curtains, tablecloths and napkins. Drying and ironing of some inventories. High variability in tasks throughout the work shift due to operating cycles of laundry equipment. Use laundry carts to collect soiled linens from floors and supply Laundry Attendants with clean linens. Restock laundry room storage shelves with clean linen inventories. Prepare dirty dishware and cutlery for automatic dishwasher and restock carts following wash/dry cycle. Kitchen inventories can include serving plates, drinking glasses, mugs, pots, pans and cutlery. Maintain a clean and safe work area, which includes occasional use of dust/wash cloths, vacuum cleaner, mop. Serve as relief Laundry Attendant as necessitated by guest room occupancy or employee absences. This can include changing beds, dusting furniture, replenishing guest supplies and towels, cleaning bathrooms and vacuuming. Sign out all keys at the beginning of the shift and sign in/return all keys at the end of the shift. Handles lost and found items per department procedures. Report suspicious activity or unusual conditions to General Manager and/or Maintenance Manager. Follow applicable safety policies and guidelines, including utilization of appropriate safety equipment/personal protected equipment (PPE).
