Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Laundry Attendant to join our team and help maintain the cleanliness and sanitation standards of our facilities. This role involves handling laundry operations efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering quality textile cleaning services, this position is perfect for you! Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to process textiles effectively. Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, folding, and organizing linens and garments. Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport laundry loads safely around the facility. Follow safety standards in production by adhering to proper manual handling techniques and safety protocols. Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of laundry areas, ensuring all equipment meets hygiene standards. Assist with laundry services for various clients, ensuring timely completion of all tasks. Monitor laundry detergents and cleaning supplies inventory, replenishing supplies as needed. Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and textile care procedures. Experience with laundry services, including washing, drying, dry cleaning, and garment care machine operation. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely using proper manual handling methods. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating loads. Excellent attention to detail to ensure sanitation and quality standards are met consistently. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents or injuries. Customer service skills to interact professionally with team members and clients when necessary.
