Laundry Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team in The Dalles, OR. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hotel laundry environment, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. This role requires knowledge of laundry chemicals and proper handling procedures to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and fabric care. Responsibilities Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron hotel linens, towels, and guest clothing according to established procedures. Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently. Use and handle laundry chemicals properly, following safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area. Inspect laundered items for stains, damage, or quality issues and report any concerns. Work quickly and accurately to meet daily laundry demands. Restock closets and support organization for the housekeeping team Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and chemicals. Skills & Qualifications Experience in hotel laundry operations preferred. Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining attention to detail. Understanding of laundry chemicals and safe handling practices. Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions. Good physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lifting. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
