WEEKEND A MUST SUMMARY
Performs the task of washing, drying, and folding of the hotels linens, and distributes them.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: Washes, dries, and folds the hotel linens according to the specifications of the laundry equipment and chemicals. Assists in the stripping of soiled linens from guests rooms. Stock fresh linens in the appropriate areas. Ensures hotel equipment, such as washers, dryers, and chemical dispensing systems are maintained properly and secured. Ensures cleaning supplies and chemicals are used correctly and all bottles are properly labeled in accordance with the chemical policy. Ensures the laundry area is kept clean and lint free. Cleans lint traps daily. Assists in the inventory of linens on a monthly basis. Properly disposes of linen that does not meet company standards. Maintains a record of disposed linens. Provides excellent customer service that goes above and beyond, to the hotels guests. Conducts themselves in a professional manner at all times. Observes the company’s 10-4 rule. Immediately addresses guest’s requests. Properly attired in uniform and nametag, in accordance with franchise and company grooming and uniform policy. Communicates with superiors and co-workers about the status of linens and any maintenance issues. Provides safety and security for the hotel and its guests. Follows the hotel key control procedures at all times. Is familiar with the hotel emergency plan and is able to confidently partake in emergency training procedures. Observes guest and hotel confidentiality procedures. Uses the hotel safe lifting procedures. Reports all incidents and injuries to the appropriate supervisor. Provides input and ideas on the operation of the hotel. Participates in training initiatives and skill development. Completes any other task requested by a supervisor, including training new associates. All other duties as assigned.
