Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Laundry Attendant, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and freshness of our guests' linens, towels, uniforms, and other textile items. This energetic position offers the opportunity to ensure that all laundry services are performed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of sanitation. Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers and dryers to clean hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles Handle laundry materials with care, ensuring proper sorting, loading, and unloading of items using push carts and other equipment Follow safety protocols for manual handling and heavy lifting to prevent injuries during material handling tasks Maintain sanitation standards by using appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents in accordance with safety standards in production Monitor machine operations to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot any issues promptly Assist with the organization and storage of clean textiles to facilitate efficient laundry flow Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests for laundry services promptly and professionally Requirements Previous experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and pushing carts safely Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating loads accurately Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including proper use of laundry detergents and safety equipment Strong attention to detail for garment care and textile cleaning processes Ability to operate garment care machinery such as industrial washers, dryers, and garment care machines effectively Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with energy and enthusiasm Join us in creating a welcoming environment where cleanliness meets excellence!
