Duties Assist customers with their laundry services, providing friendly and efficient customer service at the counter. Process cash and/or credit card transactions accurately, including handling payments and providing receipts. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly cleaning laundry areas, equipment, and surrounding facilities using appropriate cleaning detergents. Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of laundry loads and folding garments with care. Monitor and operate fabric care machinery, ensuring proper settings for different fabric types to prevent damage. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations, including proper use of pressing machines and handling cleaning chemicals. Keep accurate records of transactions, laundry processing times, and maintenance schedules for equipment. Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies like detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning materials. Experience Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable, providing a foundation in customer service and operational procedures.
