Job Description

Laundry Assistant Location:
The Gardens at Millville - Millville, PA The Gardens at Millville is seeking a full-time Laundry Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility in Millville, PA. Schedule Full-Time 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM Every Other Weekend (EOW) required Every Other Holiday (EOH) required Responsibilities Place soiled facility linens and residents' personal laundry into washing machines Fold or hang residents' personal laundry and transport items to resident rooms Hang clothing in closets and place clothing in drawers Sort, wash, dry, and distribute linens and personal items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area Follow all infection control, safety, and laundry procedures Qualifications Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, cleaning, maintenance, or a related field preferred Familiarity with laundry equipment and cleaning materials Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Benefits We strive to provide our employees with a comprehensive and affordable benefits package, including: Medical and Prescription Drug Coverage Dental and Vision Care Telemedicine Program Company-Paid Group Life Insurance Voluntary Term Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability 401(k) Savings Plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter Benefits Planned Time Off (vacation, personal, sick, and state sick leave) Benefits, bonuses, and variable compensation plans are based on applicable state law and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service.
