They shall be responsible for all service orders entered into the ERP system and responding to questions regarding operation, maintenance, installation, and repair posed by customers after shipment. Likewise, the Technical Service Manager shall be responsible for leading, scheduling, and dispatching members of Girton's service technician team. Responsibilities Communicating with customers regarding repair and/or maintenance of their equipment Scheduling on site services for Girton's service technician team Producing professional quotations at the customer's request Becoming 1st level support for customer questions regarding equipment operation Researching costs and providing custom quotations for services Receiving and reviewing customer's purchase orders and entering orders for service support Communicating with customers to provide them lead time or project changes Communicating with shipping/receiving to ensure prompt and proper delivery of ordered items Producing technical documentation for equipment maintenance and tuning Performing limited supervisory duties Qualifications (Job Required) High school diploma or GED Ability to read drawings and interpret bills of materials Strong communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office products A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain and maintain a valid USA passport Qualifications (Job Preferred) Experience in design or maintenance of stand alone capital equipment Knowledge of sanitary equipment and associated standards Ability to read and use CAD software Ability to interpret PLC and HMI software Prior sales or customer support experience Physical While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and climb or balance. The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus Use of keyboards, telephones, and copiers Climbing of stairs, ladders, and/or scaffolds
