Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to thoroughly clean textiles. Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, loading, unloading, and folding linens and garments. Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport laundry loads safely throughout the facility. Follow strict safety protocols during manual handling and heavy lifting to prevent injuries. Maintain sanitation standards by properly using laundry detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents according to safety standards in production. Monitor laundry processes for quality control, ensuring textiles are properly cleaned and cared for without damage. Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and ensure proper storage of materials. Requirements Prior experience in hotel laundry services or textile cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating load sizes. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including proper use of cleaning chemicals. Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation and garment care. Excellent customer service skills to support team members and guests when needed. Ability to operate laundry machinery such as industrial washers, dryers, and garment care machines confidently.
