Job Description

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for all in-house laundry. They will ensure all linen is clean and presentable with no stains prior to folding. They will separate all linen, load washing machines, load dryers and then fold linens. They are responsible for identifying and reporting preventative or other noticeable maintenance issues in laundry area. Separates linen Load proper weights in washing machines Empty washing machines and place linens in dryers Take linen from dryers and fold per specs Keep laundry clean and free of debris Take up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed Must be able to work independently and as a team player. In addition to the above responsibilities, the Attendant may be asked to participate in additional duties and special projects designed by the housekeeping supervisor
