We're a locally owned laundromat in the heart of Philadelphia, looking for a dependable and friendly Wash and Fold Associate to manage solo shifts at our clean, welcoming store. What You'll Do:

As the face of South St Laundry during your shift, you'll be responsible for keeping the shop running smoothly.

Daily responsibilities include:

Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with washer/dryer use Handle drop-off laundry orders: sort, wash, dry, fold neatly, and package for pickup Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system: weigh, price, and process payments accurately Maintain cleanliness: wipe down machines, clean folding tables, sweep floors, take out trash Monitor vending and change machines: issue refunds and alert management to issues Track laundry and cleaning inventory; restock soap vending machine as needed Report equipment or maintenance concerns promptly Ensure the customer area stays tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked

What We're Looking For:

Friendly and reliable with a professional attitude Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks Strong attention to detail Comfortable with light physical work (lifting up to 30 lbs, standing for long periods) Available for part-time shifts, including some weekends and evenings Previous laundry or customer service experience is a plus, but not required — we'll train the right person!
