Your responsibilities will include:

Collecting, sorting, counting, checking, and weighing soiled linens and clothing Operating washers and dryers and following proper laundry procedures Using appropriate stain-removal techniques Ironing, folding, inspecting, and organizing clean laundry Delivering clean linens and clothing to the appropriate locations throughout the facility Maintaining an adequate supply of clean linens and laundry supplies Keeping resident rooms and public areas clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive Following established cleaning, infection control, and cross-contamination prevention procedures Properly using cleaning products, disinfectants, equipment, and personal protective equipment Following manufacturer instructions and safety procedures when using chemicals and equipment Keeping laundry, housekeeping, and work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards Cleaning and properly storing laundry equipment Monitoring supplies and communicating supply needs to supervisors Completing required work records and following established cleaning and laundry schedules Reporting hazardous conditions, equipment malfunctions, or other concerns Using equipment and resources efficiently and responsibly Working collaboratively with team members to support the overall needs of the campus

What We're Looking For Required:

High school diploma or

GED Preferred:

At least one year of housekeeping or laundry experience Familiarity with common laundry appliances and equipment Ability to learn routine machine operations and follow established procedures Ability to accurately track laundry quantities and maintain production or inventory records We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, organized, and takes pride in their work . Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is helpful, but we're also looking for individuals who are willing to learn and work as part of a team.
