Hours of this position are from 2:30PM to 10:30PM. Responsibilities Operate laundry machines such as industrial washers and dryers to ensure proper cleaning of textiles and garments. Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting and manual handling of laundry loads using push carts or other equipment. Follow strict safety standards in production areas, adhering to all safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment. Perform sanitation procedures regularly to uphold hygiene standards across all laundry processes. Manage laundry detergents and cleaning agents responsibly, ensuring correct usage according to safety guidelines. Sort, fold, and organize linen efficiently for timely delivery or storage. Assist with materials handling tasks, including loading and unloading laundry items while maintaining proper safety practices. Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry services, and textile cleaning methods. Ability to operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment effectively. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, managing inventory, or calculating loads. Excellent understanding of safety standards in production environments to ensure compliance at all times. Customer service skills for interacting professionally with team members or clients when needed. Experience with sanitation practices essential for maintaining hygiene in laundry operations. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and prolonged standing or walking during shifts.
