In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and maintaining linen quality. Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines to process linens, towels, and guest clothing with precision and care Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results Perform cleaning tasks including stain removal, fabric inspection, and quality checks to maintain high standards of cleanliness Handle dry cleaning processes when required, ensuring proper handling of delicate or special-care items Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to safety and hygiene protocols at all times Collaborate with housekeeping staff to coordinate linen supplies and ensure timely availability for guest rooms and facilities Follow all safety procedures related to laundry chemicals and equipment operation to prevent accidents or damage Requirements Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, stain removal, and dry cleaning processes Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and cleanliness standards Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple loads of laundry simultaneously Good communication skills in Spanish; English proficiency is a plus but not required Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed
