Responsibilities Operate garment care machines including industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing efficiently. Handle laundry materials with proper techniques to prevent damage and ensure optimal cleanliness. Manage materials handling tasks such as loading and unloading push carts, sorting textiles by type and color, and organizing laundry supplies. Follow safety standards in production by adhering to safety protocols for manual handling, heavy lifting, and equipment operation to prevent injuries. Maintain sanitation standards by using appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents while ensuring all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Assist with textile cleaning processes including stain removal, garment care machine operation, and inspection of finished laundry for quality control. Support customer service efforts by promptly addressing guest requests related to laundry services and ensuring timely delivery of clean linens and garments. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with laundry operations such as industrial washing machines, dryers, dry cleaning processes, and textile cleaning techniques is advantageous. Basic math skills are helpful for managing quantities, measurements, and inventory tracking. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments ensures adherence to safety protocol guidelines during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks.
