Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Laundry Staff to join our skilled nursing facility team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to enhance the lives of our residents. You will work as part of a collaborative team, ensuring that all laundry operations are conducted efficiently and in accordance with health and safety regulations. Your role is essential in maintaining a comfortable and hygienic environment, which allows our staff to focus on providing exceptional care. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and resident clothing Maintained cleanliness and organization of laundry area Operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently Inspect items for damage or stains and handle them appropriately Follow proper infection control procedures during laundry operations Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and regulations Communicate effectively with nursing staff about laundry needs and issues Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies as needed
Requirements:
Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and products
