Position Summary The Laundry Attendant is responsible for processing, organizing, maintaining, and distributing clean linens to support daily hotel operations. This position operates commercial laundry equipment, maintains appropriate linen inventory and par levels, follows proper handling procedures, and ensures linens meet hotel quality and cleanliness standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, hotel policies, procedures, safety requirements, and service standards. 2. Follow established procedures for receiving, sorting, handling, laundering, storing, and distributing used and clean linens. 3. Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently. 4. Follow proper procedures for handling and replacing laundry chemicals and immediately report spills, malfunctions, or equipment concerns. 5. Monitor linen inventory and maintain appropriate par levels to ensure an adequate supply for guestrooms and housekeeping operations. 6. Organize and store linens by type, size, color, and department for efficient distribution. 7. Complete required inventory sheets and maintain accurate linen counts and replenishment needs. 8. Inspect linens for stains, damage, excessive wear, or discoloration and remove unusable items according to established procedures. 9. Maintain daily logs and required documentation for linen inventory, damaged items, equipment issues, and other departmental activities. 10. Distribute clean linens to Housekeeping areas, Room Attendants, and other departments as required. 11. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area. 12. Assist with Housekeeping operations and departmental training as assigned. 13. Respond professionally to guest and team member questions or concerns and direct requests to the appropriate supervisor when necessary. 14. Protect guest, team member, and company property and maintain confidentiality of information entrusted to the position. 15. Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values and MAD skills. 16. Attend and successfully complete all required training. 17. Perform other duties as assigned.

Strong organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and established safety procedures. Ability to maintain professional relationships with guests, team members, supervisors, and management. Ability to communicate effectively in English for safety and operational purposes. Spanish or another language is a plus.

Education and Experience Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, safety procedures and chemical/product labels. Ability to safely handle linens and operate laundry equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous laundry, housekeeping, hotel, or commercial laundry experience. Experience with linen inventory and par-level controls. Bilingual English/Spanish.

Adequate vision, hearing, communication, and manual dexterity are required to perform essential duties. Work Environment Work is primarily performed in the hotel laundry and housekeeping areas. The position may be exposed to heat, humidity, steam, cleaning chemicals, laundry odors, wet surfaces, equipment noise, and varying temperatures. Work may include nights, weekends, holidays, extended hours, and irregular shifts based on business needs. Health, Safety and Conduct Requirements The team member must follow all Hotel health and safety requirements, properly use and care for assigned personal protective equipment, immediately report defective or missing equipment, and comply with applicable hygiene, exposure-control, emergency-response, security, and workplace-conduct procedures. A professional, service-focused presence is required at all times. Conditions of Employment Employment is subject to successful completion of any required background checks and required licensing. The team member is responsible for keeping all required documents current and valid. Must be able to provide authorization to work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have access to reliable transportation to commute to and from work. Must comply with the KLEH Handbook, internal policies and procedures, applicable safety and security requirements, and applicable gaming regulations.
