In this vital role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the freshness and sanitation of all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and textiles, contributing directly to guest satisfaction. Your dedication to safety, efficiency, and quality will help create a welcoming environment for every visitor. Responsibilities Operate industrial laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and garment care equipment to clean hotel linens and textiles efficiently. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper sorting, folding, and storage of laundry items according to hotel standards. Manage laundry detergents and cleaning agents safely, adhering to all sanitation and safety protocols. Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport heavy loads of linens throughout the laundry area safely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry workspace in compliance with safety standards in production. Perform routine inspections of textiles for stains or damage, ensuring only high-quality items are returned for guest use. Follow safety procedures diligently during manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy loads or operating machinery to prevent injuries. Support customer service efforts by ensuring timely delivery of clean linens to various hotel departments. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel or industrial laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of textile cleaning processes including laundry washing, dry cleaning, and garment care machine operation. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and pushing carts. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and managing inventory. Strong understanding of sanitation standards and safety protocols in production environments. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality control.
