We are seeking an experienced Industrial Laundry Maintenance Technician to support the operation and maintenance of our high-volume commercial laundry facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, ironers, folders, conveyors, and associated utility systems.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment where equipment uptime is critical. Essential Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on industrial laundry equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Troubleshoot washers, dryers, ironers, folders, conveyors, and related equipment.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs.
Inspect and maintain motors, pumps, bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, and drives.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and repair documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with electrical systems up to 480V, 3-phase power.
Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a production environment and must be able to lift a moderate amount of weight and have the ability to stand, walk, and kneel for long periods of time
To be available to work a flexible schedule of mornings, afternoons, and evenings, on any day including weekends and holidays as needed
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Strong multi-tasking and communication skills.
Preferred
At least 3 years of related experience maintaining commercial laundry equipment.

Continental Girbau
Dexter
Jensen
Chicago Dryer
PLC troubleshooting experience.
VFD programming and diagnostics experience.
Boiler, steam, and compressed air system knowledge.
Technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field.
