We are hiring for a weekend shift Friday-Sunday, starting pay at $16 per hour. Duties Assist customers with their laundry needs, providing friendly and professional customer service at the cashier station. Process laundry orders efficiently, ensuring garments are cleaned and finished to high standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly cleaning workstations, equipment, and surrounding areas using appropriate cleaning detergents. Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of laundry loads and garments with proper technique to ensure safety. Monitor machine operations, troubleshoot issues promptly, and report maintenance needs to keep equipment in optimal condition. Skills Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for delivering top-tier customer service. Familiarity with laundry services including washing, drying, and folding. Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and workspace maintenance to uphold hygiene standards. Ability to handle cash accurately while processing transactions efficiently at the cashier station. Basic math skills for managing payments, measuring detergents, and calculating laundry quantities.
