Duties Operate garment care machines including pressing machines, dryers, washers, and specialized equipment for fabric care. Assist customers with laundry services, processing their items efficiently while providing friendly, attentive service. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly cleaning machines, work areas, and ensuring proper disposal of cleaning detergents and waste. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of laundry loads and garment finishing processes with safety and precision. Process cash transactions accurately at the point of sale or service counter, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Conduct quality checks on garments to ensure proper pressing, dry cleaning, or finishing according to fabric type and customer specifications. Support the team with basic inventory management of cleaning supplies, detergents, and garment care products. Must be willing to work holiday, weekends, morning and night shifts. Qualifications Prior experience in a laundromat environments is highly desirable; familiarity with garment finishing or pressing is a plus. Knowledge of fabric care techniques including dry cleaning, garment pressing, and laundry processing. Ability to operate pressing machines and other garment care equipment safely and efficiently. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude that makes guests feel valued. Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Familiarity with cleaning detergents and workspace maintenance to ensure a safe, hygienic environment.
