Laundry Attendant

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role involves ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of linens, towels, and other laundry items to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in laundry operations, including dry cleaning, and possess a strong attention to detail. Previous hotel experience is a plus, but not required. Duties Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing machines efficiently and safely Sort, fold, and organize clean linens and laundry items for distribution Handle delicate fabrics with care, including dry cleaning processes when necessary Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by adhering to sanitation standards Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and chemicals Follow established procedures for stain removal and fabric care Ensure timely turnaround of laundry to meet operational needs Support other housekeeping staff with linen delivery and collection as needed Experience Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and stain treatment Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is advantageous Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and follow safety protocols Previous experience in hospitality or cleaning services is a plus This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness standards expected by our guests and ensuring smooth daily operations within our facility.

Pay:

$13.50 per hour
