Laundry Aide - PT Senior Services of America - 3.3 Mukilteo, WA Job Details Part-time $17 - $18 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Hand hygiene Safety protocol adherence Isolation techniques (health monitoring and safety measures) Put-away Laundry dryer machines Personal protective equipment (PPE) adherence Textile cleaning Fabric inspecting Laundry sorting Laundry spot cleaning Entry level Full Job Description Responsible for operating and maintaining the laundry room, including the pickup, sorting, washing, and drying of residents' clothing and general linens. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operating and maintaining laundry room Pickup and receive laundry for residents each day Wash and dry laundry Collects, sorts, and launders general linens and resident clothing as required Sort soiled linen according to wash formula/type Physically and visually checks linen and resident clothing for stains, rips, tears Return to correct resident and put away resident clothing and linens in proper areas Maintain cleanliness of facility linens and residents' personal clothing and laundered items Expected to report any and all mechanical issues with equipment Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices Utilizes infection control/isolation techniques and P.P.E. Implement laundry procedures to meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements Functions may include standing for extended period of time up to 8 hours Transportation of laundry, linen, garments, includes, but is not limited to, pushing a cart that may exceed 30 pounds Other duties as assigned
