Job Description
Laundry Aide Help create a clean, comfortable, and dignified home for our residents. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our skilled nursing team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, enjoys helping others, and understands how important fresh linens and clothing are to resident comfort and dignity. As a Laundry Aide, you'll play a key part in ensuring our residents always have clean, well-cared-for clothing and linens — making a meaningful difference in their daily lives. Employee Benefits Package Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance $100/month company contribution to an HSA account Daily Pay Option 401K Employer paid life insurance 1x annual salary up to $100k Paid Time Off & Flexibility Generous Paid Time Off Personal Day Benefit Guidance and assistance from a dedicated regional team What You'll Do Perform all general laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and clothing Sort soiled laundry, prepare items for washing, and follow proper chemical and sanitation procedures Label and track residents' personal clothing to ensure items are returned correctly Inspect linens for wear or damage and report concerns Maintain clean and organized laundry areas, equipment, and supply rooms Clean washers, dryers, lint traps, soap dispensers, and laundry carts regularly Replenish cleaning products and monitor inventory levels Assist with general housekeeping tasks as needed Support infection-prevention practices, including proper handling of isolation laundry Respond to laundry-related requests from residents and staff with courtesy and professionalism Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous laundry or housekeeping experience (healthcare experience a plus) Basic understanding of sanitation and infection-control practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team
