Job Description

Summary The Laundry Technician is responsible for providing thorough cleaning and sanitizing services to all of our restaurant locations •This is a 3-month temporary opportunity•Essential Functions and Key Position Accountabilities Assess laundry build-tos/orders from restaurant Receive dirty laundry in totes from our distributor (Harbor Wholesale) Wash, dry, and fold dirty laundry (towels and aprons) Pack clean laundry in re-usable totes for each restaurant Keep laundry area clean and organized Palletize totes for pick up by distributor (Harbor Wholesale) Clean and dry dirty totes as needed Provide support with smallwares procurement and packing as needed Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time Adapts to changes in work assignments and environment, is willing to assume additional responsibility and learn new processes Support special projects and other designated activities, as assigned. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by Manager Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION
High School Diploma in a related field or equivalent
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION N/A EXPERIENCE
This position prefers at least one year of facility maintenance or janitorial experience in a restaurant environment
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Communication Requires ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Ability to follow appropriate communication channels. Ability to read interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Team Building/Interpersonal Skills Demonstrates competency by maintaining positive, collaborative, and constructive interpersonal relationships. Understands and practices the principles of effective teamwork. Work Prioritization/Flexibility/Adaptability Demonstrates ability to prioritize work assignments and meet productivity and quality standards. Adapts easily to changes in work assignments and environment, is willing to assume additional responsibility and learn new procedures. Effective organizational and analytical skills. Computer/Office Skills Ability to use standard office equipment including computers, telephones, copiers and fax machines. Intermediate proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook required. Standard keyboarding skills
