We hope to hear from you today. The Home2 Suites and Tru Madison East are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Laundry Attendant. The main responsibilities of this position include: Ensures a safe and efficient operation of the laundry department daily. Uses proper cleaning and care of the laundry items and laundry equipment.

•The working schedule is solely based upon the needs of the hotel business, meaning that the hours worked are directly affected by the hotel's occupancy. •Other Duties include but are not limited to: Practices customer service behaviors, such as listening, initiative, responsiveness, cheerfulness, accommodation, courtesy, honesty, and professionalism. Demonstrates good communication skills and helps ensure optimum communication between all shifts, departments, and management. Makes decisions in the best interests of the property and in compliance with all applicable policies and procedures. Demonstrates positive Team spirit, helping other Team members as necessary to achieve required standards of productivity and guest care. Separates linen from terry and shakes to expose any items left behind from guests for submission to Lost & Found. Loads, programs washers and dryers to achieve cost effective and proper cleaning/drying of items in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Assists in stripping/picking up linen from rooms/delivery of linen & terry to rooms as requested. Maintains a clean, neat and organized laundry area Soaks linen & terry as needed for stain removal, checks linen & terry daily for wear and tear, fold linens and towels as directed, ensuring free of wrinkles, frayed edges, stains, and hair. Assists in housekeeping as requested/required. Cleans and maintains employee break rooms and restrooms.
