- Backwoods Terror Ranch Sweet Valley Ranch is hiring part-time, seasonal make-up artists for our upcoming Backwoods Terror Ranch Halloween attraction in Fayetteville, North Carolina. We are seeking creative individuals aged 16 and older to help safely scare guests and maintain the attraction's high-energy atmosphere. Key Responsibilities
- Arrive promptly at designated call times.
- Apply makeup to over 30 actors per night following posted design examples.
- Attend all mandatory cast meetings, dry runs, and workshops.
- Identify aesthetic qualities and adapt designs based on lighting and temperature.
- Prioritize time-sensitive tasks to ensure all actors are ready for showtime.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve shared production goals. Requirements & Qualifications
- Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
- A portfolio of work must be submitted via email prior to an interview.
- Previous experience in makeup (retail, counter, or theatrical), painting, or mural work is preferred.
- Strong understanding of stage makeup and lighting interactions.
- Ability to work quickly and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Airbrush experience is preferred. Position Details
