Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tanning Consultant and become the go-to expert for all things related to achieving a beautiful, healthy glow! In this vibrant role, you will deliver exceptional customer service, educate clients on various tanning options, and operate state-of-the-art equipment to ensure a safe and enjoyable tanning experience. Your enthusiasm and knowledge will help clients feel confident and radiant while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and professionalism. Duties Greet customers warmly, assess their tanning needs, and recommend suitable services or products. Operate a variety of tanning equipment including UV tanning beds, and spray tan booths. Ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and maintained according to health standards to guarantee client safety. Educate clients on aftercare procedures and product usage to maximize their tanning results. Process cash transactions accurately while upselling additional services or retail products to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness of the salon environment by performing regular cleaning duties and sanitation protocols. Requirements Previous experience working in retail or the beauty industry is highly preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently. Experience operating spray tan booths, UV tanning beds, airbrush systems, or red light therapy devices is a plus. Knowledge of sanitation practices within a salon or spa setting. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Enthusiastic attitude with a commitment to providing an outstanding client experience.
